Greetings beautiful people The wait is finally over and Connexion 2024-25 is released unto the world. We apologize for the delay but promise that the wait was worth it. Last year was an absolute beast of a party with people from all over the world attending, and this year promises to be even bigger. So many beautiful positive changes happening with Connexion and it is our hope that these changes meet your expectations and exceed them. What to Expect:Connexion is now morphing into a World Music Festival with 3 separate stages. Our Headliners this year across the genres and stages are massive! All information will be released steadily over the coming weeks so stay tuned. Stage 1: After having live acoustic acts for the first time last year, we are excited to bring you some more awesome live acts ranging from acoustic, hip hop and down tempo genres. Hosted by Cody locks Caprari and The Down Temple. Stage 2: Naturally our roots are underground and psychedelic so you can expect to have your senses tickled by our Psy floor as usual. We will be hosting various local and international label showcases throught the 5 days of the event. Hosted by Baris Cakal and Danny Beneke Stage 3: The third floor will feature only the finest Drum & Bass, Techno, Progressive and happier beats.Hosted by Savage Productions . Our aim is to be more inclusive for all moving forward. Wait! There's more! :We are super excited to announce that Connexion will now be child friendly, which is something that has been requested over the years. We intend to have a full kiddies area separate from the rest of the party, loaded with exciting activities to keep them busy. Early Birds: R950 for a full festival pass ( only 50 available ) Phase 1: R1100 for a full festival pass Phase 2: R1300 for a full festival pass Gate tickets: R1500 for a full festival pass Day passes are available only at the gate and are valid from 10am -10am the following day and are charged at a rate of R300 per adult and R100 per child. New years eve night is the only day rate that is more expensive at R500 per adult and R100 per child. If u arrive after the 30th and are paying gate price, a full festival pass will be R1500 less the amount of R300 for every day that has passed from the beinning of the festival. So for example if you arrive on the 1st you would only pay for the 1st , 2nd and 3rd @ R300 per day totalling R900 Childrens Tickets:, All children aged 8 or younger are free of charge Children aged 9 -17 are charged at R500 for a full festival pass (these tickets are avilable on psytribe, link at the top of the desciption. Day passes for children aged 9-17 are R100 per day and can be bought only at the gate. Venue: The oaks Country Hotel in Byrne Valley Richmond Accommodation: There will be chalets, dorms and 2 sleepers available. Travel Info:For all the internationals and locals flying in for Connexion, King Shaka International Airport is the closest airport to the venue. From King Shaka it is roughly 133km or roughly a 90 min drive depending on traffic to the festival. The closest town to the event is RIchmond Kwa - Zulu Natal.
